What we collect

We do not offer accounts, newsletters or comments, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us by email, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider may automatically record technical server logs (IP address, browser type, requested page and time) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to profile visitors.

The guestbook tool

The guestbook page builds your entry entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted to us or stored on our servers. If you copy or download the entry and email it to us, we then receive it as an ordinary email.

Why we use your data

We use emails you send to reply, to consider corrections and to improve the site. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence. Server logs are processed under our legitimate interest in site security.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it unless it relates to an ongoing correction or query.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

Your rights
